Speech at the year-end event of the senior fitness team

Today we have three core words for the end of the year - everyone's fitness results this year are really good. Today we are open to having fun and chatting. Next year's fitness arrangements will be based on everyone's needs. There will be no compulsion or comparison. Health and happiness will always be ranked first.

Speech at the year-end event of the senior fitness team

A few days ago, I sorted out the physical examination comparison chart that everyone submitted voluntarily. Aunt Zhang, who lives in Building 3, suffered from degenerative knee disease at the beginning of the year. She had to take two breaks when walking 500 meters. She has been practicing joint-friendly exercises with us for more than half a year. Last week, I climbed Baiwang Mountain with my daughter, and I didn’t even feel tired until halfway up the mountain.; There is also Uncle Li from our Tai Chi group. He had to take two kinds of medicine to suppress his high blood pressure last year. In the past six months, he has been doing Tai Chi for 40 minutes every day. The doctor at the last community physical examination asked him to reduce the dosage of medicine by half. These are all obtained through actual practice, and I am not bragging here as the captain.

Of course, I also had a lot of different ideas this year. A few old sisters who love fun said that we should customize team uniforms, arrange more programs, and participate in competitions in the district to earn some money for the team.; There are also many old friends who have told me privately that they have to pick up their grandchildren and take care of their bedridden wife at home, so it would be nice if they could find time for activities. Having so many rules is too restrictive. ; Some people say that the current rhythm is too slow and want to add some big dance steps. Some people with bad knees say they just want to play Ba Duan Jin slowly and don't want to jump along. I wrote down these ideas in a small book one by one. There is no right or wrong. They are all people's real needs. We don't have to twist them into a standard.

The captain of another community fitness team complained to me before, saying that your team is too scattered and doesn’t even have a unified check-in rule. It doesn’t feel like a group when we go out for activities. I told him at that time that we formed a fitness team just for our own comfort and not for others. No matter how neatly we dress and how standard we dance, if our knees hurt from training and we come home so tired that we can’t sleep, isn’t that putting the cart before the horse? I have tried many methods in the past few months. I have divided the evening show into two areas: fast and slow. Those who like to be active can go to the fast area to dance square dance, and those who want to slow down can go to the slow area to practice Tai Chi. You don’t need to wear the same clothes, just wear your most comfortable sports shoes and sportswear. ; If we want to participate in the competition, we form a small group separately. If we have time, we can rehearse together. If we don’t want to go, no one will urge us. ; We also do the check-in that someone mentioned before, but it is entirely voluntary. After playing 30 times, you will be given a small gift such as knee pads and grippers. It is just a thought and is definitely not used to restrain anyone. Last month for the Double Ninth Festival community performance, we gathered 12 old sisters who were free. We practiced three times after dinner and then played. We also won a second prize. The two boxes of laundry detergent we won were all given to everyone, and the old friends who didn't go also had a share. After all, we are on the same team, and the honor belongs to everyone.

Speaking of which, I took the lead in setting up this team, not to win the honor of being the captain, but because my wife passed away a few years ago, and I stayed at home with nothing to do and felt dizzy every day. Later, I went out to dance with a few old sisters.

We won’t engage in those vain rituals today. After dinner, we will prepare some small prize draws, all of which we usually use: kneepads, Tai Chi fans, thermos cups, and hand-washable mops. The winning rate is 100%, and everyone will have a share. After eating, those who are willing to sing can go to the KTV room next to them. Those who want to play cards can join a few tables here. Those who want to go home early to pick up the children and cook can just leave without asking anyone for leave.

As for the arrangements for next year, we have also made preliminary considerations, and are planning to add a Baduanjin Field in the morning. It will be at the small park in the community from 6:30 to 7 o'clock. Anyone who can get up can come.; The fast and slow zones for the evening show are also retained, from 7:30 to 8:30. ; I plan to do a suburban hike every two months and go to the surrounding wetland parks. Those who can't walk take the sightseeing bus. Those who are willing to go can sign up. If they don't want to go, no one will say anything. If you have any other needs, please feel free to mention them to our team members and do whatever makes you feel comfortable. Our team is always here to serve everyone’s health, not for any ostentation.

I don’t want to be more verbose. I just saw the waiters walking over here carrying the sauced elbows. I would like to toast everyone here and wish us a new year with no sore waists and no leg pain. We eat deliciously and stay in good health. We all need to be good and enjoy a few more years of good life! Come on, cheers!
