Is the lower the temperature of refrigerated vegetables, the better?
Low temperature can delay the time of vegetable spoilage, but the lower the temperature, the better. The suitable storage temperature for most vegetables is 3-10°C.
The exception is cucumbers, whose storage temperature cannot be lower than 10°C. If cucumbers are refrigerated in a refrigerator below 10°C, the color will become darker, the melon body will become softer, and a transparent gel-like liquid will be visible after cutting, and the fragrance of the cucumber will disappear.
