Men who don't shave often are more likely to have strokes
Researchers reported in the American Journal of Epidemiology that 835 people had died during the 20-year study. Overall, 45% of those who did not shave every day died, while 31% of those who shaved at least once a day died.
The higher number of deaths among daily shavers is not related to the fact that they smoke more and have poorer living habits, but researchers say this cannot explain why they have a higher risk of stroke.
Research results show that people who do not shave every day are mostly unmarried and blue-collar workers; they enjoy fewer orgasms, are shorter, and are more susceptible to angina pectoris.
