I have a lot of pearl rash on my foreskin

A lot of pearly rash on the foreskin is usually a manifestation of pearly papules on the penis. It is a benign lesion and generally does not require special treatment. Pearly papules on the penis may be related to factors such as poor local hygiene, excessive foreskin, chronic irritation and other factors. They usually appear as small white or skin-colored papules, arranged in rows, without pain or itching.

1. Poor local hygiene

Pearly papules on the penis may be related to poor local hygiene. Inadequate cleansing of the perineum can lead to a buildup of secretions that can irritate the skin and form pimples. It is recommended to wash the inside and outside of the foreskin with warm water every day and avoid using irritating lotions. Keeping the area dry can reduce irritation. 3. Chronic irritation

Pearly rash may be triggered by long-term friction or chemical irritation. Wearing tight underwear, frequent masturbation, or using fragrance-based toiletries can irritate your skin. It is recommended to choose pure cotton breathable underwear to avoid excessive cleaning. If the papules are red and swollen, mupirocin ointment can be used externally, but it must be used under the guidance of a doctor.

4. Physiological variation

Some pearly papules are normal physiological variations and may be related to abnormal development of pilosebaceous glands. These papules are not contagious, grow slowly, and usually require no treatment. If it affects the appearance, laser treatment can be used, but there is a possibility of recurrence. 5. Viral infection

In a few cases, human papillomavirus infection needs to be ruled out. Although pearly rash is not related to HPV, the clinical manifestations may be confused with early-stage genital warts. After diagnosis, you can use imiquimod cream or cryotherapy, and screen for sexually transmitted diseases.

Patients with pearly papules on the penis should avoid scratching or picking the papules on their own to prevent secondary infection. Choose loose and breathable cotton underwear every day to reduce local friction. The water temperature should not be too high when cleaning, and avoid using alkaline soap.
